For us, photography is the art of seeing the world through a very personal lens, namely yours. We believe that this feeling shouldn't stop when you press the shutter, but should be reflected in your entire setup, from the camera strap to the smallest hot shoe cover.

Your camera gear is a part of your creative process and accompanies you on every shoot. At nordkit, we see our task not as pushing a standard off-the-shelf product on you, but as giving you the freedom to design your gear in a way that suits you and your style.

Why we do so much ourselves

We consciously handcraft many of our products in Germany. For us, craftsmanship is not just a nice word, but the key to true individuality: every single piece passes through our hands and not just through an anonymous production line. Because we handle each product individually, we can respond to your wishes regarding lengths, colors, fastenings, and small details that make a difference for you in everyday life.

We love it when things stand out. That's why we offer handmade camera accessories in various colors and materials, consciously going beyond the classic black-grey spectrum.

Perfect fit instead of "it'll probably be fine"

We know the problem: standard lengths are always a compromise. That's why we produce many of our straps to your desired length instead of imposing a standard size on you. Whether you wear your camera high on your chest, loosely at your hip, or across your back: we adapt the strap to you, not the other way around.

We are continuously optimizing our processes so that it's as easy as possible for you to specify how your strap should fit when ordering, without having to struggle through tables.

Technology that fits your workflow

Individuality doesn't stop at color for us; it continues with technology. We develop our own solutions, such as robust quick-release systems with high-quality anodized aluminum carabiners, which strike a very good balance between price and professional quality.

At the same time, we give you the choice between:

• our quick-release system,

• classic key rings,

• or other proven variants, depending on the product.

This way, your workflow remains exactly as you love it, just with accessories that are a better visual and functional fit for you.

We are a small team, and you reach us directly: no call center, no "we'll get back to you eventually." If you have suggestions, wishes, or even criticism, we truly appreciate it. Many of our product improvements and new ideas have come from conversations with you.
